Dual Belt Indexing Conveyor
The Dual Belt Indexing Conveyor carries holders on two timing belts for assembly, inspection and packaging operations. Holders can remain separate or span both belts, with widths up to 24 in (610 mm).
Full-length guidance and master plate calibration support controlled part placement along the working section.
- Holder arrangement
- Separate or spanningIndividual holders or a holder extending across both timing belts.
- Holder width
- Up to 24 in610 mm; holder width is distinct from belt and overall conveyor width.
- Load per belt
- Up to 100 lb45 kg per belt; this does not establish complete spanning-holder capacity.

Features and benefits
Separate or Spanning Holders
The two-belt arrangement supports two tooling layouts:
- Separate holders
- Individual holders carried on the belts.
- Spanning holders
- A holder extending across both belts to support the part.
Guidance Along the Working Length
Holders are guided along the full working length and supported on the lower return. The return support controls vertical holder movement during the return portion of the cycle. The holder and product envelope includes the lower return.
Master Plate Calibration
Aluminum sub-plates and master plates are calibrated with the belts. This establishes the relationship between the belts and the part-support tooling during setup.
Pulley and Component Construction
Each drive and tail pulley is machined from a single piece. Belt calibration and holder guidance are part of the indexing arrangement, which also uses sealed components.
Technical specifications
| Specification | Available configuration |
|---|---|
| Holder width | Up to 24 in (610 mm) |
| Belt arrangement | Dual timing belts |
| Holder arrangement | Separate holders or holders spanning both belts |
| Load capacity | Up to 100 lb (45 kg) per belt |
| Conveyor length | Application-specific lengths; custom lengths available on request |
| Frame choices | Powder-coated aluminum or stainless steel |
Holder width is separate from belt width and overall conveyor width. The per-belt load figure does not establish the capacity of a complete spanning-holder assembly.
Applications and integration
Assembly and Packaging
Dual Belt Indexing moves supported parts between automated assembly and packaging operations. Separate or spanning holders provide different ways to carry the part.
Inspection and Transfers
Use Vision Inspection to review camera and lighting access. For loading, unloading and presentation between operations, explore the Transfer and Product Control Guide.
Documentation and support
Conveyor and Holder Information
Use Documentation to request applicable dimensional, holder and drive information for the selected arrangement.
Existing Equipment
For an existing conveyor, start with Equipment Identification. Describe the belts, holders and drive when the identifier is unknown.
Warranty
10-year unlimited hours, 5-years on bearings, 2 years on drive packages
