FlexLoc Conveyors with Convertible Holder System
FlexLoc combines guided part holders with tool-free holder and sub-plate changes for assembly, inspection and part positioning. The holder system works with timing belts and flat belts. Removable machined holders and sub-plates for user-supplied holders provide two tooling choices.

Features and benefits
Tool-Free Holder Changes
FlexLoc holders and sub-plates can be removed without tools. This allows the product-contact tooling to be changed when the part or operation changes.
Preloaded Holders with Guided Travel
The mounting system preloads the holder against the belt. Adjustable side rails guide the holder along its travel, providing a defined path for the part during assembly or inspection.
The holder system uses standard belting. Loading depends on the selected conveyor and tooling.
Application-Specific Part Positioning
Typical part positioning accuracy is ±0.01 in.
- Index-drive condition
- The FlexLoc literature describes this tolerance as unaffected by pitch tolerance when using Conveyor Technologies index drives.
- Application scope
- Lateral belt positioning, belt-tooth clearance, the drive system and the holder all affect part positioning. Actual accuracy depends on the application.

Belt dimensions and drive choices depend on the selected conveyor. Holder dimensions and the complete installation envelope are separate from belt width. Custom dimensions can be requested.

Assembly and Inspection
FlexLoc is used for assembly, vision inspection and precision part positioning. Guided holders present the part while removable tooling supports changes between products.
