Conveyors for OEM & Machine Integration
Build conveyor movement into your machine
Fit conveyor movement into an equipment frame, workstation or enclosure. Conveyor Technologies helps arrange the product path, drive and mounting within your machine, with access to the belt and service points.

Drive placement
End-drive and center-drive arrangements put the drive in different parts of the machine layout. Conveyor Technologies can help select the arrangement around the product path and available space.
End-Drive Conveyors
The motor and gearbox sit at one end, outside the working area where the layout permits.
Useful when: A conveyor needs to carry parts through a machine while the drive sits at one end.
Center Drive Conveyor
The drive sits between the conveyor ends where infeed or discharge clearance is limited.
Useful when: Products need to enter or leave close to adjoining equipment.

Mechanical integration
Low-profile frames
Compact frame height places the conveying surface beneath work areas and between machine stations. Extruded aluminum frames provide mounting holes and slots for attachment to the machine structure. The complete installation includes the frame and belt, motor and gearbox, mounting hardware and the space needed to reach them.
Access around the conveyor
Mounting must accommodate product transfers, guarding, sensors and access to the belt and drive. A conveyor that fits within the machine still needs a clear infeed and discharge, along with access for belt removal and maintenance. Conveyor Technologies helps select the support arrangement around these transfers and access points.
Machine mounting connects the conveyor to the equipment structure. Conveyor Stands provide a separate support arrangement where the conveyor is freestanding.

Belt and motion choices
Match the conveying surface to the job
Configuration choices include belt width, conveyor length and conveying surface. A continuous belt supports ordinary part transport; timing belts transmit motion through toothed engagement; modular plastic and wire mesh provide different surface constructions. Urethane and silicone are among the material choices for applicable belt configurations.
The Conveyor Selection Guide compares the product families and their principal functions.
Select the frame finish
Frame options include anodized aluminum, powder coat and stainless steel, depending on the conveyor configuration. Wet operation and cleaning exposure affect the applicable construction.
Match motion to the machine cycle
Fixed-speed movement, adjustable running speed and an index-and-dwell cycle serve different machine tasks. Indexing moves the part between working positions and pauses it for an operation. Drive configurations include alternating-current motors, brushless direct-current motors and servo interfaces, with the actual package selected for the conveyor.
Speed, direction and index commands connect conveyor movement with machine operation. Control interface compatibility is specific to the proposed arrangement.

Product-specific integration options
Present a part for inspection
AccuVision Internal Backlit Conveyor places LED lighting beneath a translucent belt for visual inspection.
Carry parts through working stations
Dual Belt Indexing Conveyor supports part holders across two timing belts. FlexLoc Conveyors with Convertible Holder System use guided, removable part holders for assembly and inspection. These arrangements combine conveyor movement with a defined way to locate the part at each station.
Change elevation or separate products
Cleated Conveyors use cleats for incline flow, spacing and part segregation. Multi-Flex VSC Variable Shape Conveyors provide configurable conveyor shapes for routing and elevation changes.
Allow airflow or drainage
Wire Mesh Belt Conveyor provides an open conveying surface for heating, cooling, washdown and drainage applications.

Design assistance and documentation
Conveyor Technologies can help select and configure the conveyor within your equipment layout. Ask for Engineering Help when the conveyor arrangement is still taking shape.
For a drawing or manual related to a known conveyor, use Conveyor Documentation. The conveyor identifier helps distinguish the applicable model and configuration. If the installed unit is unfamiliar, Equipment Identification provides a starting point for that document search.
Discuss your machine
Tell us what moves through the machine and where the conveyor fits. A brief description is enough to begin a configuration discussion, even while dimensions and control details are still taking shape.
