How must the part be supported and presented?
Guides contain products, holders establish part positions and cleats provide spacing or incline flow. Backlighting, vacuum holding and open conveying surfaces serve different inspection or handling tasks.
Supporting an irregular underside, holding a set position and illuminating an edge for inspection call for different features. Conveyor Technologies helps match the conveyor to the part as it enters and leaves the operation.
What movement does the process require?
AccuMove uses timing belts for indexing, reversing and synchronous movement of multiple conveyors. Cleated and Flex-Side conveyors organize products during inclined movement. The drive and conveying surface work together to provide that movement and spacing.
How will the conveyor fit into the layout?
End-Drive places the drive at one end. Center Drive offers nominal length choices with the drive beneath the conveyor, leaving space at the transfer ends. Multi-Flex VSC uses repositionable frame sections to change the layout. Conveyor Technologies coordinates conveyor length, drive position and belt access with the available space.
Conveyor Stands includes aluminum, steel and shared-stand arrangements. Side Guides covers fixed, two-axis and hold-down options, including optional tool-free adjustment and preset positions.
What access is needed for adjustment and belt changes?
End-Drive includes belt-tension calibration. AccuMove combines self-tracking belting, tension calibration and sealed bearings. Tracking and maintenance features depend on the belt construction and selected conveyor.
AccuVision allows a two-minute belt change when mounted on Conveyor Technologies' open stand design. Stand selection and removal access are part of that arrangement. Check each product page for its belt-change mechanism and conditions.
