Features and benefits
Vacuum Confined to a Dedicated Module
The vacuum is confined within a module, with no vacuum created inside the conveyor body. The system holds lightweight or unstable products against the belt during transport. The holding pattern is selected for the product's contact surface and orientation.
Changeable Vacuum Pattern
Changing the vacuum pattern requires replacing both the module and belt with a pair that matches the intended pattern. This adapts the holding arrangement to a different product.
Tool-Free Belt Replacement
The belt can be changed without tools. Maintenance and pattern changes require access to the belt and vacuum module.
Sealed Bearings
The bearings are sealed and lubricated for life, so routine bearing lubrication is not required. The layout needs to retain access for belt, module and conveyor inspection.

The holding force needed for the product is separate from the conveyor's load capacity.

Lightweight and Unstable Products
Vacuum conveying supports lightweight or unstable products in packaging, automation and medical manufacturing. The holding arrangement maintains product orientation during transport.
Cleanroom and Washdown Applications
Vacuum Conveyors are suitable for cleanroom and washdown environments. Suitability depends on the selected construction, cleanroom class and cleaning conditions.
The vacuum pattern and source requirements depend on the product and motion. Conveyor load capacity does not specify vacuum holding force.

Module and Belt Information
For vacuum-module information, Type H or Type I configuration drawings and applicable belt details, use Documentation. The applicable information depends on the installed module and belt pattern.
Existing Equipment
For an existing conveyor, start with Equipment Identification when requesting documents or a replacement quotation. If the identifier is unknown, describe the conveyor and the product-holding pattern.
