Bottom Mounted Gear Motor
Place the gearmotor beneath the conveyor and transmit drive movement through a timing belt. Fixed-speed, brushless DC variable-speed and watertight motor options support different movement and exposure requirements.

How it fits your conveyor
Drive space below the conveyor
The gearmotor sits below the conveyor frame, with a timing belt connecting it to the conveyor drive. This moves the motor space beneath the conveying path. Stands, cross-braces and nearby equipment still need to fit around the motor and its connection.
Motor movement to conveyor movement
A separate timing belt transmits rotation from the gearmotor to the conveyor drive. It is distinct from the belt carrying the product. Motor speed, gearing and the pulley arrangement determine conveyor travel, so rotational speed in RPM cannot be used as a belt-speed value.
Options and configuration
Fixed-speed and variable-speed motors
Listed choices include 40W–90W fixed-speed motors and 60W–120W brushless DC variable-speed motors. Conveyor Technologies helps match consistent or adjustable conveyor pace to the operation.
Watertight motor options
40W–90W watertight motors are also listed. The selected motor, enclosure, cabling and conveyor construction are reviewed together for the actual water or cleaning exposure.
Technical specifications
| Detail | Bottom Mounted Gear Motor |

The motor powers and temperature describe listed motor options; the torque range is a package reference. Conveyor Technologies confirms the motor, ratio and duty for the installation. These figures do not establish conveyor load capacity or belt speed.
Installation and service access
The underside layout needs room for the gearmotor, timing-belt connection and access to their mounts. Supports and braces can affect both the installed position and the path used to remove the drive. Cable routing and guarding are coordinated with that space.
Conveyor Technologies helps coordinate the drive with the stand and machine layout. For existing equipment, identification of the conveyor and installed motor helps locate the relevant mounting and operating information.
Documentation and support
Conveyor Technologies can help identify the relevant mounting, operating or service information for the selected arrangement. Visit Conveyor Documentation to ask about a drawing, manual or reference for your equipment.
For existing equipment, Equipment Identification provides a starting point when the conveyor or component identity is uncertain.
Warranty: 2-year unlimited hours warranty, 5-years on bearings.
