High Speed Bottom Mounted Gear Motor

Position the high-speed drive beneath the conveyor and connect it through a separate timing belt. This arrangement locates the motor, drive connection and service approach below the product path.

How it fits your conveyor

A separate timing belt carries drive rotation to the conveyor.

Bottom-mounted configuration

The gearmotor below the frame transmits rotation through a timing belt to the conveyor drive. This drive belt is separate from the surface carrying the product. The arrangement lets the motor occupy underside space while the conveyor carries products above it.

Coordinate the underside of the machine

The motor, timing-belt path and mounts share the underside with stands and cross-braces. Conveyor Technologies arranges these around the product path and provides for access to the drive connections. Bottom mounting changes where space is needed; the full arrangement still has to fit the machine.

Options and configuration

Power and control choices

High-speed package motor choices include 115V single-phase AC, 230/460V three-phase AC and brushless DC options. Conveyor Technologies matches the motor, controller and electrical connections to the operation.

Compare the mounting relationship

Bottom mounting places the drive below the conveying surface. The inline version provides a direct-coupled alternative. The useful distinction is where each arrangement fits and can be accessed within the machine.

Power and rotational speed are references for the bottom-mounted high-speed package. The selected motor and pulley arrangement determine the applicable conveyor movement; these figures are not conveyor load, belt-speed or throughput ratings. Conveyor Technologies confirms the package for the operating duty.

Installation and service access

The drive connection, motor mounts and cable route share space beneath the conveyor.

Access beneath the conveyor includes the motor mounts and timing-belt connection, as well as the electrical route. A drive that fits between supports also needs a path for service and removal. Conveyor Technologies coordinates those spaces with the stand, cross-braces and surrounding equipment.

For replacement inquiries, the conveyor identifier and installed motor or controller information help distinguish the bottom-mounted package and its applicable documentation.

Documentation and support

Conveyor Technologies can help identify the relevant mounting, operating or service information for the selected arrangement. Visit Conveyor Documentation to ask about a drawing, manual or reference for your equipment.

For existing equipment, Equipment Identification provides a starting point when the conveyor or component identity is uncertain.

Warranty: 2-year unlimited hours warranty, 5-years on bearings.
