Right Angle Gear Motor
Bring conveyor movement through a right-angle reducer and jaw-coupled connection. This gearmotor combines a cast aluminum housing, hardened steel gearing and fixed- or variable-speed options for fitting the drive into the machine layout.

Right-angle placement
The reducer turns the drive path through a right angle, allowing the motor and conveyor connection to occupy different directions within the machine. The listed casting-mount arrangement uses a jaw coupling at the conveyor connection. Conveyor Technologies coordinates the coupling and mounting with the available motor and gearbox space.
Gearbox construction
Inside the cast aluminum housing, hardened steel gears transmit movement through the reducer. The worm is supported by two anti-friction bearings within that housing. Synthetic lubricant is retained in the sealed gearbox.

Listed motor choices include 90V DC, 115V single-phase AC, 208V single-phase AC, 230V single-phase and 230/460V three-phase AC. Fixed- and variable-speed arrangements address different conveyor movement requirements.
Mounting and protection
Flange, foot and face mounting styles provide different ways to attach the gearmotor to its supporting structure. Optional enhanced sealing and custom gear ratios are listed. Conveyor Technologies confirms the mounting, sealing and controller arrangement for the selected package.

The power and torque above are package references. The selected motor, reduction ratio and operating duty determine the applicable output; the figures are not conveyor load or belt-speed ratings.
Installation and service access
The coupling sits between the reducer and conveyor connection. Access to that connection and the gearmotor mounts allows the drive to be reached within the machine. Conveyor Technologies helps coordinate adjustment and removal space alongside cable routing and guarding.
The sealed lubrication arrangement does not replace the operating and service instructions for the actual drive and conveyor.
