How it fits your conveyor
Inline drive arrangement
The gearmotor output connects to the conveyor through a jaw coupling. That connection transfers rotation between the drive and conveyor shafts. The motor, reducer and coupling occupy space together; Conveyor Technologies fits this arrangement around the frame and adjoining equipment.
Consistent or adjustable pace
A fixed-speed motor provides a selected operating pace. A brushless DC motor and its controller allow that pace to change, for example when the conveyor needs to follow adjoining equipment. The motor, gearing and conveyor pulley together determine belt travel; an adjustable motor does not by itself establish the conveyor’s usable speed range.
Options and configuration
Fixed-speed and brushless DC motors
Listed motor options include 40W–90W fixed-speed motors and 60W–120W brushless DC variable-speed motors. Conveyor Technologies matches the motor power, gearing and pulley arrangement to the required conveyor movement.
Watertight motors
40W–90W watertight motor options are listed for installations with water exposure. Conveyor Technologies helps match the motor, enclosure and electrical connections to the cleaning conditions; the motor option does not establish a sanitary rating for the complete conveyor.

The motor powers are listed options, and the torque range is a package reference. The selected motor, reduction ratio and operating duty determine the applicable output. These figures do not establish conveyor load capacity or belt speed.
Installation and service access
The jaw coupling and gearmotor mounts need to remain reachable after installation. Conveyor Technologies coordinates the service approach with cable routing, guards and surrounding equipment, including the space needed to remove the motor and reach the coupling.
For a change to an existing drive, Conveyor Technologies uses the conveyor identity and motor or controller information to check the replacement arrangement.
