How it fits your conveyor

Inline uses a direct connection; bottom mounting uses a separate timing belt.

Direct-coupled inline configuration

The inline drive connects directly to the conveyor, placing the motor and connection together at the drive shaft. The alternative bottom-mounted high-speed package transmits movement through a separate timing belt. These are different ways to fit the drive around the conveying path.

Match the pace to the operation

The package’s rotational-speed reference describes the drive. Conveyor travel also depends on the connection and pulley arrangement, while product spacing and downstream equipment affect the useful line pace. Conveyor Technologies selects the motor, connection and controls to coordinate conveyor travel with that line pace.

Options and configuration

Power and control choices

High-speed package motor choices include 115V single-phase AC, 230/460V three-phase AC and brushless DC options. The selected motor and controller determine the electrical requirements and usable movement range.

Inline or bottom mounted

Available space beside and below the conveyor, the position of supports and access to the drive connection determine which layout fits. Conveyor Technologies helps compare those installation relationships for the proposed conveyor.

Power, torque and rotational speed are references for the inline high-speed package. They are not a guarantee that every listed electrical option provides the same output. Conveyor Technologies confirms the selected motor, connection and duty; no belt-speed or throughput rating is derived from these figures.

Installation and service access

The installed motor and direct connection need space to be reached and removed.

The motor and direct connection need a clear service approach at the conveyor drive. Their installed position can differ from the space needed to remove them. Conveyor Technologies coordinates that access with the machine frame, cable route and guards.

For an existing high-speed drive, motor and conveyor identification helps establish the installed configuration before replacement or changes are discussed.

Documentation and support

Conveyor Technologies can help identify the relevant mounting, operating or service information for the selected arrangement. Visit Conveyor Documentation to ask about a drawing, manual or reference for your equipment.

For existing equipment, Equipment Identification provides a starting point when the conveyor or component identity is uncertain.

Warranty: 2-year unlimited hours warranty, 5-years on bearings.
